Christopher Huff, graduate of Rowan University and Rutgers University, Camden, has 7 years of experience working with the Substance Use Disorder mental health population, including adults and adolescents. In addition to being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, he is a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor; and he has completed Addictions Counseling Training (ACT) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Training.
Prior to joining Jefferson Health – New Jersey, Huff served as counselor at various regional organizations, including the Center for Family Services; the Counseling Center at Cherry Hill; John Brooks Recovery Center; and SODAT (Services to Overcome Drug/Alcohol Abuse amongst Teenagers).
Huff’s professional interests include motivational interviewing; cognitive behavioral therapy; solution-focused therapy; trauma-informed care, and more. An openly gay clinician, Huff is also passionate about providing safe and inclusive LGBTQ+ care. Additionally, he is an avid member of the National Association of Social Workers.
