Radiant Warrior Vinyasa Flow Yoga for Cancer Patients
Felicia Greenfield-Blau LPT, CCE Co-Owner of Reboot Integrative Wellness Center is a physical therapist with 30 years of experience treating patients with cancer. Felicia is a meditation practitioner and yoga instructor. These are modalities she incorporates with her patients to help strengthen their minds and body, manage stress, reduce anxiety and improve function.
Vinyasa flow yoga is a creative form of yoga. Yoga poses are linked together with the breath in a flowing sequence. Instructions will be provided as all levels are welcome. Feel free to have a yoga mat, blocks and straps to assist with stretches, if you’d like. Benefits of a regular Vinyasa yoga practice include;
- The steady cycle of inhales and exhales provides you with a calming, mental focal point.
- The continual movements, from one pose to another, gives you an added cardiovascular benefit creating internal heat.
