Jefferson Health NJ Attends 2019 Magnet Conference

October 22, 2019

Seven Jefferson Health NJ associates recently were among more than 10,000 nurses and other healthcare professionals from around the world who attended the 2019 ANCC National Magnet Conference in Orlando, Florida.

The annual conference — which embodied the theme “Educate, Innovate, Celebrate” — offers inspiring speakers, as well as dozens of educational and innovative sessions and poster sessions highlighting the work of nurse colleagues.

“Our nurses experienced multiple educational sessions to promote improved patient outcomes and a healthy workplace environment,” says Kim Packer, MS, BSN, RN, NEA-BC, Corporate Director of Clinical Excellence. “The nurses will meet with Helene Burns, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, Chief Nurse Executive and VP of Clinical Services, to share the best practice ideas they would like to see initiated at Jefferson NJ.”
